The Department of Mathematical Sciences has three annual awards given to extraordinary undergraduate mathematics majors. The award winners for 2004 are Mark Worthy, Jesse Uhl and Harrison Nathan.
The awards winner for 2004 are the following:
Mark Worthy: Mathematical Sciences Scholarship Award to a student who excels academically in Mathematics.
Jesse Uhl: Mathematical Sciences Distinguished Service Award to a student who has given outstanding service in the advancement of mathematics education.
Harrison Nathan: Career Motivation Award in Mathematics to encourage and motivate gifted undergraduate majors who have shown early promise of exceptional scholarship in mathematics.
